While working on the bridge it was noticed the ice on the river was in perfect condition for ice skating! The backhoe cleaned off the ice and we enjoyed a bonfire using the old wood from the bridge and had many skaters enjoy the day well into the late evening. There was a fun game of hockey with a few dog participants, many kiddos practicing their skills and lots of on-lookers. Fun!
