The river is starting to open up and you can see signs of spring around the ranch. Snow is hiding in shady spots but is gone for the most part! This winter cooped up in the casa has worn on us all and we can't wait to get outside!
This summer on this bit of the ranch we will be trying a new grazing program. Intense grazing of smaller pastures and frequent rotations which some neighbors have had great results with. I imagine it will be a lot of work to begin with but it will be an interesting experiment that I'm looking forward to.
