The fat cat Leroy has loved the addition of Elly's changing pad to our house - he could care less about the baby! It's by far his favorite spot which of course drives me crazy and I chase him off as much as possible but some battles you just can't win. Dave has adapted by changing Elly while Leroy hangs out with them. It leaves him a little crunched for space on the table so Leroy has to be useful. Holding the tush balm and clean diaper he is rather tolerant of his new roommate!
That is defintly very cute, but it does scare me! My oldest sister was smothered by a cat as a baby, she was ok but dad got rid of that cat real quick and hated them since. Even tho he had trusted it being such a nice cat.
ReplyDeleteLuckily the cat doesn't want anything to do with the baby and I captured this rare moment of harmony before shooing the cat away. Believe me, they are never left alone together because I'm just that neurotic Mom : )
