I've gotten closer to the eagles twice recently but by close I mean not really that close. They are spooky things, I can't scare or budge the sparrows when I try, but the eagles fly at the sound of my clicking camera. I've got a game plan for next time - I'm not going to even try to take a shot until I'm as near as possible. The hunt continues!
